This is a great whitepaper that describes integration of Data Protector 6.11 with the HP StorageWorks P4000 using the P4000 VSS Hardware Provider. The P4000 VSS Hardware Provider supports the Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service on the HP P4000 Storage solution. Snapshots can be created manually, scheduled, or via the Microsoft VSS framework.

In an upcoming Data Protector release, 6.2, full support for Exchange 2010 is added.
Additionally, it will be possible to run Instant Restore from snapshots including application recovery to any/latest point in time.
Availability date for DP 6.2 is in March next year.
